"A common misconception exists that Kansas is a vast plain of emptiness stretching from somewhere west of St. Louis to the Rocky Mountins—traversible only by a 423-mile ribbon of interstate highway and preferably at night. In fact, Kansas. offers a wide variety of landscapes—the High Plains being just one of 11 distinct geographic regions".Mark Feiden, The Kansas Landscape Images from Home, 2005

While the Flint Hills became my central focus, I have never lost interest in opening eyes to the diverse landscape (a surprise to many) of the entire State. In 1998, I co-founded The Konza Press and we have been producing, books, note cards, and other Kansas-focused products since. This page offers a sampling of a rich portofolio or work spanning nearly 40 years. What you will not find here, is a single image from the Flint Hills [smile]. As you might imagine, this is the tip of the iceberg. I will be adding (and probably subtracting) from this as time allows.

NOTE: I realized, after writing this, that I did include one Flint Hills image. Can you identify it?
